Snooks Lee, based in Cork, is a Graphic Designer by day and Musician by night. Snooks needed a space of his own and was initially drawn to the aesthetic appeal of a Garden Room. Snooks needed his Garden Rooms to serve as a multipurpose room – Home Office by Day and Music Room by night!
Snooks, who previously worked from inside his house, admits that having a Garden Room to use has made a huge improvement to his life. He now has a quiet space to work from during the day. Besides keeping his work separate to home life, he can also practice his music at night without waking his son.
Sound Proofed Music Room
Snooks’ Cube is fitted with Blue Sound Block Plasterboard, together with 24mm acoustic glass, and an additional 50mm Rockwool acoustic fibre board in the ceiling and walls to ensure complete sound proofing. The Floor also contains 30mm of Rockwool Acoustic Fibre Board and 6mm of dense Acoustic ISO Rubber. Our standard insulation also remains in place– 80mm PIR Foilback insulation in the floor, 25mm PIR Foilback Insulation and 100mm Earthwool Omnifit in the walls, and 150ml Earthwool Omnifit in the ceiling.
