As a self-employed Marketing consultant for the Financial Services Industry, Eamon used to run his business from a High Street Office in Howth. In 2016, Eamon decided that the space and cost of the High Street office was just not worth it and he decided to move his business back home. However, working in the house was not ideal. He found that he could not switch off from work after hours as there was no separation between work and home.
Eamon had recently visited a friend who had a Garden Room and knew he had found his solution. He called John at Garden Rooms and has not looked back since.
‘I’m working at home, I like the fact that I don’t have to commute. It’s just a lovely space to work in. It’s bright, airy, and it just really works for me.’
Eamon has now managed attain the work/life balance he was looking for, and believes that the Garden Room has played a huge feature in this. He can now lock up his Garden Room at the end of the day and devote his time to his family. He can even step out during the day to take his son to school or enjoy a lunch with his family. Yet, he is still close enough to get back to work if needed.
With regards to his interaction with Garden Rooms, Eamon had the following to say:
‘The entire build took about 2 and a half weeks, as was promised upfront, and without a hitch. The builders got to work in the back garden and were no bother at all. It was a very easy process.’
Eamon adds that every step of the entire process was crystal clear, in relation to the build, the cost and the schedule. He was especially impressed with the personalised attention that he received, in creating a bespoke design to suit his needs.
