Sharon and her partner, Paul from Clonskeagh in Dublin 16 just needed more space. Now they have a fabulous bespoke CUBE 23 in their back garden.

With four children, ages 17, 15, 11 and 8, Sharon and her partner, Paul from Clonskeagh in Dublin 16 just needed more space. Now they have a fabulous bespoke CUBE 23 in their back garden.
‘We do have a large kitchen / dining area and a double reception room, but it seemed to be hard to get an uninterrupted space anywhere.’ Says Sharon.
‘ My daughter likes reading and some peace and quiet, and my older son likes to have friends over for Playstation Games, so we started to research alternatives to create a separate, extra room’
Paul and Sharon’s bespoke CUBE 23 really makes a statement in their garden. They opted for a large cedar overhang, together with a built in bathroom. They also landscaped the garden and it
“turned the garden into another room, connecting the house at one end and the outdoor room at the other. We put down artificial grass, so there’s no muck trailing into either room”
Inside the Garden Room is a desk at one end where their 17 year old son, Jack, studies for his leaving cert. There is also a Playstation and an L shaped sofa for the kids to hang out on. Sharon mentions that her kid’s friends sometimes even come around in their pajamas to watch movies, and then go home ready for bed!
Sharon’s multipurpose Garden Room took less than 3 weeks to build. It would normally have taken around 2 weeks, however the Beast from the East caused a bit of a delay for everyone. Sharon and Paul are delighted with their garden room:
“Our Garden Room changed the dynamic of the Garden, which has been transformed into an outdoor room now and gets far more use. It looks fabulous and we love it!”
